Burp your baby soon after feeding and frequently if fed.bottle fed
babies tend to swallow air and hence need to be burped between feeds.
Burp your baby over your lap, shoulder or sitting up.
Hold your baby up with his head on your shoulder, supporting his head
and back along with gently patting his backm otherwise sit the baby on
your lap, supporting his chest and head with one hand while patting is
back with other hand.
Alternatively lay the baby on your lap with his back up. Support his
head so it is higher than the chest and gently pat on his back. If he
does not burp after several minutes, continue to feed and do not
worry. Not all baby burps everytime.
